Incredible work! I saw that Ultra w/ the Warmoth Body on Ebay. I have a 91 Blueburst Ultra w/ 1 piece flame maple that rocks, but your creations blow it away. You're not a luthier, you are an artist, my friend.

Dear Mr. X,
You might remember me from the Fender Lounge. I posted a question about clear-coating my Strat signed by Robin Trower. You took the time and trouble to go into great detail about the process. Thank you so much! It was through that brief encounter that I ventured into your web-site only to be enticed by all of your beautiful guitars. I knew immediately that I wanted to build my own and have now taken the first steps to do so. I have been following your builds on the Fender site and so appreciate all of the info you have given. Thank you for the inspiration! :D

I came across this website this morning and learned more about my Strat Plus in one hour than my previous 8 weeks of 'research'.
Fantastic level of detail and photographs! I will bookmark this site and re-visit again for sure, thanks very much! :D

You have a great site, and you do beautiful work. I've always loved Strats for their 50's jet-age design, the music that's played on them, and the amazing versatility and variation possible while still being a Strat. I've wanted one since I was a teenager and now, in my 40s, I finally have one! It's a Custom Shop build that I found at a musician's estate sale with a configuration that I hadn't seen before, and while researching it I found your site. Turns out it's a Fat Strat with Lace Chrome Domes and pretty unusual wiring that I think the owner had done later. Your site helped me confirm what it is and inspired me make it perfect! Thank you for your great work.

Wow, you have a great site. I have a number of Strats that I acquired from a collector that had some contacts including one at the Fender Custom Shop. Most are factory stock but one could easily be one of yours, though it is approaching 20 years old... it must be a Plus wired like an Ultra. Thanks for all your information and I will be investigating more, photographing the details, and trying to play more when possible! - jim

Awesome site! I've been playing a Plus exclusively for about 20 years. I'd been borrowing a friend's, and when he took it back I was so depressed that my wife went out and bought me a new one (Rainbow Guitars in Tucson - go Harvey!)

I've been trying to remember exactly when I got it, and your S/N chart helped with that. Mine is N102XXXX, which I think makes it 91/92 production, right? It's got the Wilkinson nut (which I like) and Schaller keys. I'll send some pix if you like - it's a black one, the original white pickguard warped so I put on a laminated blue tortoiseshell - looks cool.

Hi Xhefri! Your site is awesome. I am a Fender novice collector. My stuff is junky by your standards, but tone wise, its cool. I have knockoffs galore, too. I was checking out your explanations on the electronics, and it is so helpful. I am signing your guestbook to establish a link with you and your site. This info is so valuable. Thank You for posting it, Bill

Hi I am looking for a Plus dx, must have Floyd-Rose locking Bridge/trem, I am not familiar with the colours in this range but I do not want red of any sort. I am not bothered about genuine roadwear, scratches or dents, as long as it plays well. I am looking for a guitar to play not a museum piece! I also do not mind something that needs some work doing to it as long as it is not a wreck. If you can help in any way Please let me know. You seem to know what you are doing which is more than I can say for a lot of the dealers and so-called experts out there.

Nice collection, and very knowledgeable too. I can honestly say that you've helped in making me completely addicted to the strat plus models over the past few years :)
