Comments: First off, what an amazing website and thank you for a lifetime of work on Guitars. I have an American start Plus ( I believe ) SN N980598. This guitar ended up in my studio because the original owner has passed and his widow has asked me to sell it for her. ( My dilemma is this) a fabulous Crimson Frost Strat without Lace pups but standard pups, definitely a plus neck with Wilkinson nut on Maple fretboard, Tilt with Tremsetter, and I cannot ID this guitar to put a price on it. This I believe is a transition guitar that you might be interested in because it's a wierdo. I would be glad to send Photos etc, or whatever ya might need or want. I did pop the neck to insure it is not a fake and it is the real deal. I figure you are busy but if ya can, lemme know and again, thanks for a fabulous site and your time.

Comments: I bought a black strat plus in 1997. I still have it. The stamp on the guitar is Oct 3,1997. It is an e442 very low number I love this guitar. The tone is unreal.

Comments: My late son's friend has had this guitar just sitting collecting dust since my son died June 2,2017. Nicholas died at 21 years old from a heroin overdose. He was a great guitarist; but he had (now I have) a Fender American Standard Stratocaster. I happened to be at his buddy Ryan's house a few days ago and I saw this Stratocaster. He said that Nick was the last one to play it. I convinced Ryan to let me take it home and take it all apart; giving it a good cleaning and maintenance and new strings. I've never seen one of these. I have a Gibson Les Paul Traditional in Blueberry Burst that is almost identical in color to this Ultra. Thank you for your information and I look forward to asking you questions about this unique and special guitar.
