Comments: What a great site!! Thanks for all the info! I have one of the '84 serial numbers made by John Cruz...Love it! My serial number ends in 70 which indicates Yellow...but looks more like aged cream? Keep up the good work! Thanks!

Comments: Thanks for all the great info and insight. I have a 1989 Strat Plus with Lace silver silver blue pups. From what I can glean from your site, it sounds like this is most likely one of the earliest Plus Deluxes. Is that definite, or does that pup configuration not make it a sure thing? Also, how do I know if my locking tuners are Schaller or Sperzel?

Comments: Fantastic site for many many things, but the place i always consider as the de facto source for Strat Plus information / facts. #1 for me usually is coming here to get refreshed on some facts about the Strat Plus etc Guitar line / history. ( along with a ton of other good info on other Guiters / manufacturers / etc etc.. ) And when time permits, awesome site to come check out all the Guitar Porn that has been posted to look and or drool at !
Major ups, and much gratitude to Xhefri for the huge commitment of resources and time he has given in producing a site that is incredible, and making it available to all the gearheads that can learn and expand their knowledge base by visiting. ( and hats off to the many others that have done gear sites that we can look at and learn from ! )
Cheers on an incredibly huge and ever expanding site !! Thanks for doing this !
( i can be found on most guitar forums as FreewayJam(m)

Comments: Mister, I really like and admire your work. I tend to collect Telecaster-style guitars, and have one of yours in mind -- knowing that I'm talking about a guitar probably in progress or not yet built. I've bookmarked your site and will check in often, but if'n you're currently working on a Telecaster, please drop a line.
Curious, too, as I can't quite make out the headstock signatures, but do you use a Fender decal (for Teles and Strats), or an original one of your own?
Cheers,
David

Comments: Xhefri - Thanks so much for your super-informative website. Your info helped me identify a Strat that I have as a 1989 Deluxe American Standard Strat. It has an interesting setup - gold Fender Lace Sensors in the neck and middle positions and a red Lace Sensor in the bridge position with a coil split toggle switch near the lower tone * * *. Not sure if this is an after-market modification or not. You ever seen a setup like this on a Deluxe American Standard Strat?
