Comments: Hello....I was hoping you can help me, I think I may have bought a fake. The neck is the real deal.Flame maple, T serial number. The Body has no markings in the pocket. The body also doesn't seem to have the same routings as the pics on your site, it is seafaom green and also doesn't have the contours.

Comments: Hi!! congrats on your site, its amazing, beautiful and informative...its the first time i ever found info on my guitar and specifically the finish wich i now know is called Black Jade, so i have a 1994 US STRAT ULTRA, finished in Black Jade, with Fender Floyd Rose and LSR nut and the hipshot tremsetter, and i have a friend tech working on restoring it to its full glory since it had a lot of rust and a bad soldering job on my part trying to modify the sound wich is great, i was wondering what your opinion is on my custom wiring wich is 1. bridge dually red with split switch 2. neck and bridge 3. ALL 3 PICKUPS ON! 4.MIDDLE PICKUP 5.NECK PICKUP Thanks for making a great site..., could you give me an idea what my guitar is worth *it had the truss rod replaced cause the screw was worn and did not work,so another friend who knew how did a heel route and removed the rod and replaced it with another biflex* and sealed with paint filler...did that ruin the value? thanks for your time

Comments: Hello Xhefri, excellent webpage, great guitars. I am a luthier, and I am trying to find all the info I can get on the Gibson ES-140. I played one years ago and fell in love with it, and I am now looking to make something similar. Unfortunately, I am unable to find plans for sale, so I am going to have to pattern it out of photographs, but that really doesn´t worry me too much because I am not looking to make an exact copy. However, I´d like to know in your opinion how similar (or not) you think the basic body shape is to that of the Les Paul, (given that I have plans for this guitar) and also if you could please send me to my e-mail address that great picture you´ve got under your "Gibson" section which shows both the Es-140 and the Les Paul full front, one next to the other. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, and thanks very much in advance!

Comments: Hi, great site, please keep it going.
I have a never seen one like it, 2002 USA Deluxe, special edition. Metalic grey sparkle body with stainless steel pickguard. 3 chrome lipstick pick ups and a C-shaped maple neck with a fabulous ebony fingerboard. Fantastic action and a joy to play and look at. A real eye catcher. I have traced its history back to 2004 when it was sold by East Coast Music Mal in Kings Lynn, England to the guy I bought it from, but so far unable to find where this Strat lived for its first 2 years. Started life in Corona USA in 2002 Serial No DZ2038531. Fasinated to find out who commissioned this rare Strat to be made. Any help much appreciated. Thanks Chris.

Comments: Hi!
This site is wonderful, many thanks. I have learn a lot about strat plus.
My strat plus is from -91 with rosewood fretboard and Fire Storm finish.
Comments: Thanks for the fast reply,I just wanted to date or just make sure this a japan body.I know the neck is japan ,the first thing I did when I got the guitar was look at the neck, the neck has AUG 97 ST-54 DEX 2 and there is a green dot from a marker. All the body had was ST-62 D, now the 6 was smuged so it could have been a 5,6,8.I dont know if they used the same body for the 54,57&62 but I would like to find out because I want to give this to my son someday!I would like to give him the real thing because I'm hoping the MIJ CIJ will go up in value. Is there a way to make sure this a japan body or could it be just a squier.I took of the pickgard and the body only has 8 holes and I know the 54 & 57 had 8 holes. The pots were 250's but they were very small about the size of a nickel. If you can help that would be great.Thank you for your time.Keith
