Comments: This is an amazing site! So many beautiful guitars it just leaves me speechless. I recently bought a MIJ 62 Stratocaster Reissue and I'm in love with it; it was so much better that the American Vintage Series model (made in the USA) that I owned previously and sold for enough to get a the MIJ Stratocaster and a Les Paul Special. I really appreciated the information on Fender Japan. I knew soemthing of it, but had no idea they had such a quality operation. You've also got me thinking I should check my 52 Tele Reissue to see where it was made. I'm almost hoping its Japan. I hope you can keep updating it and maybe do a bit more on the Stratocaster Reissues.

Comments: Hi, your website has some good info on the Strat Plus. I bought a red Strat Plus in early 1988 for only $500 and I never found another guitar that I liked better. I'm not sure if it's a '87 or a '88. It has 3 gold lace pick ups and the split Wilkinson nut. The serial number starts with E454 so I'm guessing it's a '87.

Comments: Great site I bought my Strat Plus in 1989 a sunburst similar to 1st photo of the 3 you have. 3 gold lace sensors, Spertzel and the Wilkinson roller nut set-up. Its really a nice guitar with a E series number. I spent a day going through about 30 Strat's that day I picked one then came back and that was the one grabbed it and that was about 21 years ago. Still a sweet guitar to have when I am able. I have a few other guitars but are all very different models plus accoustics 6-12 stings. The Strat is great with low action very playable and I am luck I have a very good Fender Trained Guitar Tech near by that takes care of it when needed. Lots of information. Many thanks for providing a explanation from your research to help those of us that have one of these models. Few are around and they have become rare and very collectable.

Comments: Hey Xhefri, (by the way, How do you pronounce that!) You may have seen a post of mine on the fender web site. I posted a note saying that I am looking for a blueburst strat plus with the red, silver, and blue lace sensors. Please drop me a line if you hear of one being for sale at a reasonable price.
Admin reply: xhefri is pronounced Jeffrey....the XH makes a J sound and the rest is pretty much phonetic!

Comments: Hi i have a 1989-1990 black strat plus w gold lace sensors. I play full time (5-6 nights a week) i recently got my 'plus' and love it however, we are tuned to eflat standard and whnever i use the wammy bar the guitar tries to go sharp to 'E'. Ive been on the tremsetter website and set up the tremsetter verbatim too instructions but still happening. Ive replaced springs ,change strings every 2-3 gigs w same brand and gauge. Im no expert but ive been doing this for twenty years or more and i cant figure this out. The guitar is a bit of a closet classic in that the previous owner who got it brand new from U.S.A. ,never used it and it was under a bed for 15 years. Any ideas on how to fix this would be fantastic!! Rock on
