A few years ago I inherited a '88 Strat Plus (Vintage White) thru my brother who said our uncle had it. I never knew it existed. I guess it's an '88; Serial E81***
I didn't even know it was a Plus until I showed it to a young guy I was working with at the time.
It's really a nice guitar and in excellent condition, original case. I wish I could play better, but I do OK on bluesy leads, a little funk and R&B but wish I could chord like Steve Cropper (who doesn't).
I saw on your site where you have sold him a guitar - wow. He's my guitar (and song writing) hero.

Really enjoyed reading you site. You've covered a lot of ground, esp w/ Strat Plus Editions. Very informative. I have a few Strats myself. Some I've made and some special one's I've held onto.

Thx for the info & all the research you've done...RB

Great page!

I myself own 2 Strat Pluses, a Strat Ultra, and a Mexican Strat I've converted to a Strat plus (like the black "non-strat plus" on one of your pages). These are my favorite guitars and your page is supremely helpful in knowing their history.

Thank you Jeffrey & best regards! :D

Outstanding website, Jeffrey! I've only known about your site for a few months now but I've all ready spent several man hours scrolling through the pages and daydreaming about the stunning guitars you have published. On behalf of myself and strat plus users everywhere, thank you for your hard work and dedication!!!

Cheers!

An outstanding website Jeffrey; OUTSTANDING. Not only an absolute delight for any Strat enthusiast but fantastic to see someone setting the bar so high for the quality of instruments you're willing to sell on. I wish there were more like you. Fantastic stuff mate! :)

I see you often on the Fender Forum, I think you have the nicest instruments I have seen there.Anyone who can build them like you do has my admiration. When I have the cash for the next step up I have decided to have you put something together for me.
Your site looks great! I'll be in touch when I'm ready.

Love MIJ Fenders - have a black & silver Thinline Telecaster Super Deluxe. Having trouble finding a wiring diagram that is correct - any ideas? Hoop

Thanks for sharing your Strat Plus knowledge on your site. My own Gun Metal Blue instrument seems to be one the early, first version 1989 Strat Plus Deluxe guitars, with a somewhat unexpected combination of parts you mention: silver/silver/blue pickups, plain white pickguard and full Wilkinson nut as probably expected, but then an E4 serial number and Sperzel tuners.
