Comments: Hi, Great Website! I was wondering what case came with an "87" Strat Pus? I have a trade offer for an "87", vintage white, no hipshot or tremelo bar but original split wilkerson and sperzels, nice dark rosewood board. Don't think the case is original as it's one of the form fit case and not the full rectangular one. I had an "89" Deluxe plus that I relly liked so thinking about doing the trade! Thanks for any help and making such an informitive web page. Regards, Ed

You have an amazing site! I learned more about Fender history than I thought possible.
Thank you for enlightening all of us and for the nice tribute to your father. He would be proud.

Comments: Hi Xhefri,
Thanks for the awesome website!
On paper, I think the Strat Plus guitars are very cool but due to their rarity I haven't had a chance to play any and see what the necks are like.
Do you know if there were any variations in neck sizes (ex: thin C vs medium) for the early ('87-'89) models? How would you say the necks compare to a modern US Standard strat?
Thanks! Alik

Comments: Great website, I'm a huge strat plus fan;I've been playing them since 1989! I've had an '89 Raspberry/Maple and an '88 Bahama Green/Maple, but I've been playing my 1991 Blue Frost Deluxe Strat Plus with maple fingerboard since 1999. It has an ash top and back and is quite heavy for a strat - even heavier than my ash Telecaster. It sounds outrageously good when paired with a custom shop Prosonic combo. I play this guitar so much the frets have been leveled twice since I got it. Can post pictures if anyone wants to see it.

Comments: Thank You for hosting such a wonderful & much deserved tribute, to the Strat Plus family...I Mean, even if it does make me want cry & scream...bang my head against, the the wall, then just curl up in a fetal position and wimper. But that's just becuause the $500 I paid for my Plus, NEWZ' Tags.S&H, the work (gone in a divorce)would be laughed at now. (Go figure...) So now I'm building a replacemet "Plus" with a 24' scals length (because Iplay lots'a Jazz chords), 3 TBX pots (1 for each pickup) a Brass nut (oil impregnated Brass/Bronze, in case I ever decide to actually use the Trem) and ,finally, an on-board para-metreic EQ (because Lace pups have too much bandwidth for a passive circuit to sort out & it's hard to find a sweet-spot, when a pup's entire badwidth is one great-big sweet-spot) And I'm sorry, but I've just been itching for a chancde to shove that down some Humbucking leg-humper's throat.
