Comments: Hey Xhefri, I'm looking at a vintage reissue '57 Stratocaster that was made in 1988. The ID# stamped on the bridge plate is V030459. How can I tell if the guitar was manufactured in Corona or Fullerton California? Is one reissue necessarily better than another in your opinion? Thanks, Al

Comments: Hi Jeff, I have an all original 1996 Signature Series Jeff Beck Stratocaster in Midnight Purple that I am thinking of putting up for sale. Although the White and Surf Greens are around to compare, the Midnight Purple doesn't seem to exist. Makes it hellish to work out a value! Please get in touch if you can help me out, or might be interested in buying the Guitar. It's in beautiful condition though I would hesitate to rate it from your scale, from my own rating experience I'd call it Excellent+. There is a small ding on the top of the headstock and a dent in the middle of the back of the neck. Plus a small scuff in the clear coat just below the Trem on the front. The scuff would easily rub out, but I would prefer to sell the Guitar as is out of concern that I might not have a pro's touch and I don't want to damage the Midnight Purple finish! Cheers Mate and hope to hear from you. I have good quality pic's available that show the detail very well! Michael Wolfe

Comments: Great site. A gold mine for the Plus series. So many fakes and plain incorrect ID's of this great guitar. To maintain the value of the Plus Series, we all need to jump on the necks of fakers and the 'Bitsa' mob [Bitsa this and Bitsa that and call it a Plus]
Comments: I have a very nice 1987 Fiesta Red Strat Plus in near mint condition. As well as a very early Strat Ultra with highly figured one-piece top and back. It is also unusual because it has factory all gold Lace Sensors, which sound fabulous in all positions.
Thanks!
Rick
