Comments: Xhefri - a great site that persuaded me to buy a 1993 Strat Plus! I bought it sight unseen and will need to deal with some set-up issues. I wonder if you could help me please? The bridge saddle screws seem to be rusted in, and have lost their heads so I can't remove them. Any ideas on how to get them out, or will I need to buy replacement American Standard bridge saddles? I want to lower the action significantly but am stuck until I can move the saddle screws. The top E string doesn't sound as loud as other strings even with pickups adjusted to be higher on that side. Is there anything I can do about this or is it just a reflection of the lace sensors? Should the trem allow 3 semitones of upbend on the G string? At present it only allows 2 semitones. Thankyou

Comments: I own a '97 Strat Plus, Midnight Wine color (that's not what the Fender Serial # says, though - it says "Candy Apple Red". I came to own the guitar by accident, and wanted to know how much I should sell it for.

Comments: WOW!! I've always liked Strats'n'Teles & now have a few I like to work on now & then but your collection just knocks me right out. So fascinating, so informative, & so right! I played a Jeff Beck many years ago & got into Strat Plus guitars, Lace p'ups, Custom DLXs, locking tuners, ebony necks, etc ever since,I love 'em! I've also got a wee collection of Parkers & just lately bought a couple of headless types for a future project, but the quality of your collection is so inspiring its just unbelievably good!! My most grateful thanks indeed, John M Brown.

Comments: Hi, I have been enjoying your web site. It is full of good info and great pix of guitars. I have, what I believe to be a 54 custom edition strat. It has a serial number beginning with "M" (I assume it is a 92 or 93). I would like to get as much history type info if that is possible. I would like to know more about the custom edition team and identifying these guitars and possible values. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks, Art

Comments: Hi: Thanks for posting all this information! I have a late 80's Strat Plus in Bahama Green, which I personally ordered from Melody Music in Denver. The S.N. is E-911xxx. I was a manager and salesperson there from 88 till around 93, and placed this order myself in late '88. Bahama Green was recommended by the sales rep, Mike DeDona, who was a personal friend and knew what I liked. I really enjoyed your site; thanks for your efforts!

Comments: Thanks for the info on the Stratocaster Deluxe Plus. I bought a new natural/rosewood one in 1991 complete with inspection labels, etc. The serial number is E921xxx, (made in USA) which does not seem to correspond with what I am reading. Can you clarify? Thanks, Elmo.
