Comments: Great, Great web site. From what I figured from your web site, I have a late 1990 Strat Plus deluxe, with the blue/silver/red Lace pu's. It's a three tone sunburst, white pick guard and maple neck. It is really heavy. It looks like it is a three piece, but would that be the ash venner on an alder body. It a chip on the body. How can tell what kind of wood it is?
Second, someone posted for sale a 92 strat plus minus the neck. The neck pocket had stamped AME STD and a date in the neck pocket. Is that stamping common in a start plus. Again, thanks for the web site.

Comments: Hi, i think i have one of the guitars yo list on your site. I have only seen one of them and never in this color. the serial number is E907109. i bought it in 1989 (maybe early 1990) in Lawrence KS. I think it is a "Deluxe American Standard Strat" as you list on page 2 of your site. It is a grayish blue and has 2 gold and one red fender lace sensor in the bridge. it does not have the locking tuners or roller nut. I traded for it and didn't know much about them then. I was told that the red sensor was ordered custom and that it was basically a custom guitar(19 years old... who knows). you are the only one that i have ever seen that mentioned this guitar. How do i know if this is one and not that I have any interest in selling, is it worth anything. My son plays it now a little and wondering if i should baby it any. i have played it very very little and it is in very good condition.
Thanks for any feedback.

Comments: Thanks for a really great website. Lots of good information and beautiful guitars. I just got a 1995 Strat Plus Deluxe ( transparent red ), with a maple fingerboard. The neck has a really thick clear finish and the fretboard looks like it has been wiped with cream coloured sanding sealer ( shows slightly over dark dot markers ). It even shows, very evenly, along both sides of the frets. Any ideas if this is normal or refinished ?? Thanks

Comments: Hi all, I have an 89/90 Ultra, and a question about the 3 way mini switch. Is it-top position, top PU only- bottom position, bottom PU only, and middle both PU's.This config gives the eleven settings advertised. An answer would be appreciated. Cheers, Fancis.

Comments: I enjoyed your site a lot. A bunch of good information there. I have a 1990 (I think) Plus Deluxe. I bought it new but I wasn't very knowledgeable at all about electric guitars. It's got the push-in trem arm, Wilkinson roller nut, locking Sperzel tuners and red-blue-silver Lace sensors.
Thanks for a great, informative site. Looking forward to the updates.

Comments: Very informative site! After reading it, I believe I have one of the "rare" Deluxe Strats. It's "vintage white" (faded to a lovely yellow) with a maple neck, has an E9_____ serial number, pearl pickguard, gold lace sensor pickups with original orange/white wiring, and swimming pool routing with the body ground wire. BUT: as you said, mine doesn't have a roller nut or locking tuners, so I think I do have one of the odd ones that "slipped through the cracks" back then. Thanks for helping me figure my "mystery" guitar.
